How this calculator helps
What the calculator is for
The payroll calculator converts gross salary into an indicative net salary and shows employee deductions, tax and the employer's total cost. It helps when negotiating pay, checking a payslip or planning a household budget.
How the calculation works
The calculation follows Czech employee payroll rules. It estimates social insurance, health insurance, tax, taxpayer relief and optionally child tax benefits. It also shows the approximate employer cost.
Practical example
Example: for a gross salary of CZK 45,000, the calculator estimates the net salary after insurance and tax. Adding children or a bonus quickly shows the difference between gross pay and money received on the account.
What to watch out for
Individual situations can change the result: enforcement deductions, sickness benefits, agreements, benefits, annual tax settlement or specific tax credits. The calculator is informative and does not replace payroll accounting.
