The percentage calculator helps with everyday percentage calculations, discounts, increases and changes between values. It is useful for shopping, finance, margins, invoice checks and quick proportional calculations.
How the calculation works
The calculator offers several modes: percentage of a base, share of one value in another, original base, percentage change and new value after increase. Results are calculated live as you enter values.
Practical example
Example: to calculate a 15% discount from CZK 2,000, choose the percentage-of-base mode and enter 15 and 2,000. Another mode can show how much a price increased from CZK 2,000 to CZK 2,300.
What to watch out for
Percentages always depend on the correct base. An increase from 100 to 150 is 50%, but a decrease from 150 to 100 is not 50%. Always check which value is used as the base.

Can it calculate percentage change?
Yes. The change-between-values mode shows increase or decrease in percent.
